Working hours and availability
We value autonomy and expect each employee to manage time responsibly, meet agreed commitments, and make availability understandable to close collaborators.
- Agree normal working hours and collaboration windows with your manager and team.
- Keep calendars and status indicators current when they affect coordination.
- Protect focused work by setting expectations for when you will review messages.
- Agree an explicit response cadence during launches, incidents, or other time-sensitive work.
- Communicate early when availability changes or a commitment is at risk.
- Protect recovery time. Extended effort should be exceptional, discussed, and followed by an appropriate recovery plan.
