Employee Manual
The Employee Manual is the practical guide to working, growing, and building with wonder at Naologic. It translates our Mantra into shared expectations, working agreements, and workplace policies.
Our purpose is to create software that brings peace of mind. This manual should do the same: make expectations clear, reduce uncertainty, and help everyone move forward with understanding and control.

How to read this manual
Pages use three kinds of guidance:
- Principle: an enduring standard grounded in the Mantra.
- Working agreement: a current practice that a team may improve as it learns.
- Policy: an authoritative company rule that requires an identified owner and approval.
When a working agreement conflicts with an approved policy, the policy takes precedence. When the answer is unclear, ask the page owner rather than assuming.
The standard
Use the five Mantra tests when the manual does not contain a specific answer:
- Did we give the right thing our full attention and turn learning into service?
- Did we remove unnecessary effort or uncertainty?
- Does the person feel understood, respected, and free to choose?
- Is the system carrying more work while the person retains control?
- Did we make life meaningfully better in a dependable, safe way?
